This kit uses a shorter style bearing housing than the standard kit and has grease seals for both ends to seal it completely from the elements. The bracket is precision laser cut from heavy duty 1/4" thick cold forged steel. The bracket is mounted with three 7/16" bolts (each bolt has a tensile strength of over 12,000 lbs.).
The bracket is 2-1/2" wide, so we recommend using at least this wide of a bumper depedning on wear you mount it.
Shown with additional mounting plate mounted on the underside/inside of bumper. For example, you can use the additional mounting plate to have your 1/4" wall bumper be 3/4" thick!
The photos above are from our prototype bracket. The final version will be laser cut and precission bent with a radius on all corners. The angled gusset will also be fully welded in.
Kit comes fully assembled with bearing races and zerk fittings pressed in.
