To fabricate up a quality rear swing away tire carrier, this hinge kit is a must. There are many options out there, but none compare to our kit. Ours is machined from heavy wall DOM tubing. Only we provide the sleeve option.

Only We provide the sleeve. Other providers will only use the spindle expecting you to weld it directly in the bumper. This provides a break point on the spindle at the weld point. Our sleeve design lets you weld the sleeve into the bumper, and tack weld the spindle to the sleeve (or a light and short weld). This ensures the spindle will not become brittle while welding. The sleeve will allow for added strength and will isolate all movement with the spindle. This also adds the option for easy removal if needed. When you weld the spindle directly in the bumper, your stuck.
We also provide a roll pin hole setup for fabrication of your tire carrier. This will automatically set your height so you wont misalign your carrier setup. This same roll pin can make it easy to remove your spindle if need be.
Many of our customers have used only the roll pin to hold in the spindle as there is not alot of down pressure on it; however, we do recommend lightly tack welding it to the sleeve. We have used this setup for over five years with no negative results, only happy customers.
