This slim line kit is similar to our standard dual shear kit; however, this is designed to be a slimmer fit alternative to work in tight fit applications where space is an issue but the superior strength of a dual shear design is needed. Unlike the large bracket that is a bolt on version, this 'L' shaped bracket is designed to be welded directly onto the top of the bumper. The dual shear bracket secures the top of the spindle shaft to keep it from flexing and fatiguing under heavy weight and stress. Our design incorporates seals on both the top and bottom of the hinge to keep water and dirt out, allowing your hinge to operate for years to come with minimal maintainence.
